Needing to reiterate the first rule as this is the MAIN rule to keep the boards working as they were meant to be for Moms
Reiterating Rule #1
1. These boards are "your" boards and everyone in essence is a "moderator" of these boards. What this means is that there is no small group of message board police deciding what people can and cannot post. We have more faith in you than that! If you see posts or see people that you feel are stepping over the line in how they are responding to someone else, or a post that shouldn't be here like spam/ads - report the post (there is a link in each post to "report to the Moderator") and I will take care of the matter.
this needs to be reitereated.........or the boards will need to be shut down. These boards are here for you to enjoy but are moderated BY THE MEMBERS, not moderated by myself. It is collective moderation with everyone doing their part in the momzone community. I do not have time to frequent the boards, as I am running a large non profit org here that includes not just momzone but 20 other sites, offline expos and a offline print magazine. I perform admin duties on them when you, as members click to reports posts and problems and when I purchase upgrades for the boards. When everyone chips in and spends literally just a few seconds when they are on the boards.... it can all run nice and smooth.
it boils down to this.... if you want the boards and to have a community... everyone needs to step up and REPORT posts (spam, ads etc) that shouldn't be here.
there are only a very very very small amount of posts that have ever been reported... and all it takes is a "click"..... it takes more time to make a post COMPLAINING about all the posts/spam that shouldn't be here than it does to report a post. This is all we have asked for and stated from the beginning in the rules for members.
Also... PLEASE don't post that you have emailed me (admin) if you haven't. I have seen posts stating that, and again, I have only received a VERY small amount of email or private messages and they are responded to as soon as I"m able to - which it typically not more than 24 hours.
You NEED to make sure that you
A. have the correct address in your profile, as if you click to send a message/email, the email address that shows is the one you have in your profile and that is the email address that your reponse goes to.
B. report posts that you don't think should be here. People who come in and spam and NOT going to read or care about a post/reply that you make to their spam or telling them they are posting in the wrong area. It doesn't do any good to make a post on the forum complaining about people posting ads/spam and NOT reporting the post to admin

I know we have had some hard feelins in the past but i have always loved and respected MZ. I have been so lucky to find some great and long lasting hips from MZ!

Hi Cyndi, thanks for the reminder, as to be honest, I was not aware we could report that way, so yay!! now I know and will do my best to remember. I must confess I am one of the ones who said I emailed you because I am not getting my email notices for the forums I signed up for but I was not , I kind of thought that maybe something happened and the email didn't go through, so if you were thinking of me, know that I was NOT trying to gripe or cause trouble in anyway. Just stating a fact. Anywhoo, I will go and check to see that I am still signed up for the forums and see if things work better now. If not, I'll shoot ya an email, .
